New York Magical Tours is the extension of the Cartland Group's Magical Tours brand into New york. Led by Ana Cartland, New York Magical Tours offers a wide range of sightseeing options in New York and across USA.

From scheduled group tours through to private tours and exclusive VIP trips, our principles are the same - discover some of the world's oldest and greatest locations with your own sightseeing team consisting of a personal tour guide and in addition, your own chauffeur, for an experience to remember.

The New York Magical Tours team of guides and chauffeurs are all qualified professionals who have been uniquely selected for their personality, enthusiasm and vast knowledge of USA.

Our experienced chauffeurs are fully licenced in accordance with USA law, while our award winning tour guides are acclaimed for being the best in their areas of speciality - a winning combination.

History

The Magical Tours brand was originally founded in London, England by Dr. Gil Cartland. Having traveled extensively around the world, Dr. Cartland returned home in 1915 to face a large dilemma: how could he best show a city to his friends and acquaintances?

Everywhere he looked he could not find a service that presented a city the way he envisaged. Tours were very cramped and he did not want his guests feeling like numbers making up a crowd. He wanted a chauffeur to take them to the historic locations and look after the tour vehicle without problems. He also sought a personal guide with a true in-depth knowledge to be able to share with them unknown anecdotes and secret stories, an experience to befit one of the world's greatest city.

It was through this vision that New York Magical Tours was formed. These principles remain at the very heart of our tour offerings today.

New York Magical Tours Today

As the original pioneers of the Layover Tour, our tours direct from John F. Kennedy International Airport, LaGuardia Airport or the Newark Liberty International Airport for the Air trains to New York and USA, offer a great sightseeing alternative to those on transit through the New york capital. We have also expanded our services outside of New York, providing a selection of tours to the best sightseeing locations across the country in the majority of languages through our specialist multi-lingual guiding team, offering a stunning choice of sightseeing.
